Photographer Maureen Roxanny, who has countless times jumped perilously into the moshpit fray, camera in hand, to get the perspective shots many avoid for fear of bodily harm and equipment damage, is another staple of the South Florida hardcore. As a female fan in this testosterone-fueled world, perspectives like her’s often go overlooked.” - David Von Bader ( Writer/Reviewer)

I’m Maureen Cordoba, a South Florida photographer who’s been documenting the local music scene since 2004. From sweaty DIY shows to packed venues, my work is all about capturing the raw energy, emotion, and community that make our scene what it is. I’m drawn to real moments — the unpolished, the loud, the intimate, and everything in between.

Born and raised in Miami, I’m passionate about preserving the stories, faces, and memories that define our culture. Whether I’m shooting a hometown gig, festival or a touring act rolling through, my goal is always the same: tell the truth of the moment and make it feel alive.
